Is it possible to drag in multiple tracks from source list |

For a while I've been creating a blank session and then importing 20 recorded tracks from our Ui24r. Now I've created a template so I imported the tracks to the source list. I can drag one track at a time but haven't figured out how to drag in all 20 at once. Is there a way to do that?
Also - how can I drag the tracks so they start at the beginning of the session? Right now they seem to land a bit to the right and I have to drag them to the beginning.
Thanks

Take Name Defaults
Is there a way in the session properties, or general properties to-
Make any new session start the Take Name default set back to Take1 or Take 001?
When you start a new session, it just continues on with the last take number incremented by 1, so an new song could start our with Take631.
Trying to remember to go in and change that before you do any recording is a pain, and usually forgotten.

Hi all. I am running mixbus v8.2 on a Dell venue pro 11 tablet, windows 10 pro. 1.9 quad core 4 g ram. I have it connected to a
20 inch touchscreen monitor via USB. So far it runs a couple virtual instruments and a few audio tracks with no issues.
I typically create midi tracks in cakewalk sonar. I would like to do more in mixbus but it just isn't as easy.
There's not a edit window like in sonar. Or am I missing something. All midi has to be done in the track view?

Win VS. Linux |

I'm a new Mixbus user but an old veteran who really loves the analog mixer look interface. Now I have intended to invest fully in Mixbus after first running Soundscape for many years and then well over to bitwig & protools but now found a home, I hope. Therefore, my important question is now to be answered; should I go for Linux or Win. Does anyone have the knowledge to tell about advantages and disadvantages between these two systems? For me, it doesn't matter as long as I invest in the right OS for the future, but also what is most reliable.
I think that the kernel is from Linux, so it would be crossing the river for water to bet on something else. The simple should be the best, so isn't it Linux??? which is to just scoop up water from the river without having to walk across it? Or is Win a better choice for the long run. all best to you Mixbus user's /manne
