How do I extract a single song from a live show?

- split the needed song / or create the markers for it
- select start start / end marker or region
- save as new project - just with this audio, including / excluding any processes

This would indeed be a very useful feature for mixing live shows. I have often mixed live shows as a whole, then found on different songs I wish to use some different plugins, different region gain etc. than other songs. Gets messy.

@sunrat in that scenario snapshots are your best bet

Been there, done that. Separate sessions for songs would be better.

For most of us doing live recordings (me included), using start/end markers and snapshots per song for mixdown, like Max mentioned on page one, is doing the job in a fast and elegant way.
If you need to deliver single audiofiles per song, it's another story, but, as also mentioned here on page one, easy to do.
Importing into a new template. Easy.

I don't understand any other need in between these two tasks, really.

If it is about to shortcut these separate tasks in the way mentioned above, this could probably be done with a Lua script. Just ask for it in the Lua subforum.
