I also have problems with 8.2.170 as well as Ardour 7.3. I can get a consistent crash for example when running a Analog Obsession plugin such as COMPER and click on the Analog Obsession logo to switch on oversampling. No problem doing this with 8.2.66 and Ardour 7.2 and all the prior versions I've used over the years.
I know that running windows vst3 plugins via yabridge is not guaranteed functionality, but it worked fine in prior versions of Mixbus/Ardour.

Be glad you even get it to run. I don't have that joy. In addition, Mixbus support has no longer answered my emails. I was apparently left out of the party, even though I paid for the whole evening.

Clean install of Avlinux mxe the latest and Mixbus 32C 8.2.184 did not solved this issue.

Fortunately, I'm not alone. It's worth sending an e-mail to mixbus support so that they can get information to solve the problem.

Mixbus 32C 8.2.184
I think I found the cause of it. It's in /usr/lib/vst3 But now comes the weird part. I deleted that folder. Mixbus 32C immediately started normally. I restored the folder, did not start. After that, I restored those subfolders one at a time and restarted Mixbus 32C each time. Each time the MC32C started normally until it had restored all the folders back. And it still starts up. What happened?

Did you note, and then restore, the vst3's folder (directory) attributes the way they were before you removed it? Cheers Patrick

All I did was copy the vst3 directory to the desktop and restore things to their original location from there.

Today update to Mixbis 32C 8.2.184 on my linux OS AVlinux 21.3 with same result. Mixbus doesnt start. After removed folder /usr/lib/vst3 is DAW normaly start. |
