Mixbus 3.0-2872 "Interim Release"
#31
Interesting mark between VMT duo and Tubetech in the plugin area. even the edit window shows all the inputs of the plug. Great!

http://screencast.com/t/jXXMOsjVg
I have not seen it in the previous releases. Thanks

A strange thing happened
I inserted Voxformer that has 8 inputs and V3 had no popup to tell I wanted to insert an 8-input plug. it worked fine. Great!

but then
I inserted tubetech and I got a popup to say I wanted to insert a plug that has 4 inputs. Later on the second try on tubetech it was inserted without popup but this mark appeared.

Why was an 8-input guy ok for V3 and a 4-input problematic, and for the second try OK?
Please light up my mind Smile

Otherwise, a lot more plugs work in this release than in any releases before. and the DSP is also much lower, only around 40% where it used to be 300 red!.
It is the best upgrade so far I think.

Thanks
Tassy

Another question:
here is what I see on my PC monitor resolution 1280x1024, and and on my laptop resolution 1280x800, I managed to see the live size of both. (left PC, right laptop)

http://screencast.com/t/Ba8Lvv8Y

interesting, and cannot understand why it is only the fader led that is bigger on a bigger monitor than on the laptop,
but all the others, (all assign, eq, and copr.) leds are smaller on a bigger monitor than on a laptop, should not be they larger too?
Asking in another way: why are they smaller on a bigger monitor?

(Neglect the composed screen shot quality, the sizes are real in comparison)
Thanks
Tassy

Windows 10 64 bit but running 32bit MB3.
Works OK except the plugin area is operating strangely.
First off, many of the plugin path and scan windows have "Linux" in their name. Upon first run the plugin path was a long string of file locations all containing the word "Linux"

Hi Blakk

the problem of the path was found and quickly corrected : Update to 2871

Windows only

Mute-Solo knob colors????????? Look like a traffic lamp: red, yellow, greenSmile

What is the logic in having the solo button RED in edit and GREEN in mixer view as default? Disturbing.
I would like both solos yellow and both mutes red, cannot do in the gui color map.
Thanks
Tassy

Cannot drag tracks in the list. It was great in MB2

In MB2 I could put any plugs in any order in the channel chain

in V3 it is restricted Sad
http://screencast.com/t/TGcV9UYVcb

I would not like V3 telling me where I can put or drag a plug and in which order.
To be more specific: if added a plug first in chain that has 4-8 inputs I cannot put any of my 2 input guys after that. Not fair

You must have customized those colors..

Edit > Preferences > Theme > Restore Defaults. and the traffic lights are gone.

This is the region list -- not the track list. Please see the heading and the selected tab on the side.

You can drag regions onto the canvas/timeline from here.

If there is no selected region, where do you expect the region-gain boost/cut to be applied to?
