ILOK is great at what it does.

@ Philip... Yes you are absolutely right. iLok is great at what it does: making a few people rich for nothing.

I gladly pay for what I use, but I'm not a fan of iLok & company. All this theft focusing steal energy from both vendors and end users IMO.

I don't know anyone in the professional world who bitches about ILOK. So go make some music and stop the bitching!
Your bitching is like a cancer and the negative vibe around this forum sucks and really can't be taken as a serious audio community.
So guys keep circle jerking around the dead horse.
Have a great day.

The only negative thing here is ilock.
From a certain point of view you are right: If a worthless thing like ilock is talked a lot about, it strengthens its importance which it does not have.

We are just sharing our thoughts on it, as we share thoughts on other really audio things like work flow, plugin, bugs,... etc to help developing this wonderful Mixbus we love and seems most of us would lose a bit or more of love if this ilock issue took place.

I would be pleased if all this thread were deleted because MB does not have and will not have anything to do with ilock and online reg.

That is my last post on this topic.
