It has been said that there will be more of these, so maybe it's worth being a part of the renewing world, where Linux is really a good option.

Presonus???
Wow that's worth a big headline, as they always stated they couldn't care less about Linux. Hence my two 26x26 back then were just dumb audio interfaces under Linux...

SO with Studio One bringing Atmos and surround, which is huge news for me, I'll no longer need to use Pro Tools for that - perhaps one of the benefits of SSL owning Harrison is Atmos integration in Mixbus 32C....? Can't be long, way overdue!

It's good to have challenges and challengers, because it causes discomfort. And all development happens in the discomfort zone. So things can start moving quickly.

iLok, iLok, iLok....it is a hated word no matter where you go...I have many ilok based daws, plugins and most have add problems....i went years with slate ssd4 and was perfect, then ssd5, ilok worked, didn't work, over and over....Antares plugins great then ilok....protools, a'sjkfwjmamca....if you add it to the program itself or I should say the computer then better but hit and miss and as usual nobody wants to own up to the issues they just pass it off as a glitch....the way I am reading this with mixbus is it probably won't come into contact but is more of a feeler to see the climate of the idea....anyhow I hope that's the case...
