The Record Window has a permanent "Disk Space" indicator in the top-right.

However, as was mentioned prior in this thread, you'll need to actually record-arm some tracks before you see how much time you have. This accommodates the fact that you might have a big session with lots of tracks, but you only need to record on a few of them.
