I really didn’t want an iLok account either but that was the only way I could actually get past the “quirk” preventing me from getting the upgrade. However, I have NO intention of actually installing the intrusive PACE software (been there, done that with PT many moons ago…. NEVER again) OR getting a PACE hardware dongle. If that becomes a requirement for MB operation…. well, we’ll see…..

What's the tax situation with California residents. I would love to grab this update with the offer code for MB10 Plus while I can for $99, but $20 in taxes is ridiculous.

Just interested in why you won't take my money (have most all the extras already). now go to get v10 and it won't accept?

Yes there are issues in the store with setting the correct tax rate per your territory.
The store is defaulting to the UK VAT rate of 20% - that's where the store devs are located.
Once you actually go into the checkout you can then add your address details. (** Note for no-iLok users at end **)
Then when you do go to the last stage of the cart (paying) your region tax rate will be set correctly.
(** Note for no-iLok users **) There is still an issue with setting no-iLok option in the store.
This and the Tax rate issue are being looked into as a very high priority.
You can go to the Store and at the bottom of the Mixbus v10 page you will find downloadable demo installers for your OS.

I’m OK with no-iLok and the Tax rate. My problem is, there is no discount for previous owners but full price at checkout. I am logged in to my Harrison account when buying. No email upgrade so far received

Check Spam bin and that the email address you purchased with is the one you are currently using.
If no joy there, then email support: mixbus@harrisonconsoles.com or lodge a support ticket at the Store that way you can get your codes.

After logon, the price shown is the full price, not the upgrade price.

Breaking News.... Some issues in the store are resolved...
No iLok option now works in the Cart and in the My Address sections.
Whilst tax rate for some US and AUS users is showing at 20% if you enter your address details, the rate is set correctly when you get to the checkout **
** Tested in AUS - but assume US will do same
