Yep. Must be an AVLinux problem, at least in this version. I could replicate both bugs: All notes on C4 und DrMr shows no kits.
Same in the also installed Ardour 5.3.12 and also in Carla DrMr knows no kits - this could point at an "unusual" Hydrogen installation.
It may be fixed in the current 2020.5.10, I put this onto the next laptop on the bench on Thursday. I quite like AVLinux, despite not using it atm, so this interests me.

Cheers,
MMM

Had some time today. For those interested: It seems to be working in AVLinux 2020.5.10
There are only 2 kits installed: Generic GM and TR808. The GM kit appears under its name in DrMr, the 808 is "Main". I didn't install extra kits (yet?) to see if they are found in H2 and in MB6... but hey, it's sorted enough for me Smile

Hi MMM !

Thanks for your last replies ( I just read ) ... Now, I'm reassured : not only my beginner level in MIDI in questions ...

OK ... I go on to work with AVL 2019-04-10, as it is ready to run and as I found a solution ... I'll change AVLinux when it will become really out-of-date ( in a 2 to 3 years delay ) ... Don't want to reinstall all the stuff now ... Wink
