Mixbus, Mixbus32C: v5.3 update available FREE
#21
Hi Guillaume,

The XT-DM "Dyno Mite" has been updated with a few new features, and will no longer be "free" with Mixbus (starting in v6).

v5 users will get a free license for the new version; we are currently in the process of launching the v5.3 update, and then we'll send the license within a day or 2.

Sorry for the confusion!

So the update broke my custom colors/theme, and I can not restore to defaults. Rght now its stuck in the weird Cyan/Yellow/Magenta. What do I need to do to correct this? Following the steps to reinstall the theme from the my dark console thread is not working Sad

So if you install the 5.3 update, will dyno-mite be upgraded as well?

Same here...
and the 32bit 5.3.4 version worked...
I installed this for a friend and am almost sure I installed the 5.2 version as 64 bit...before
?
I can't verify since I'm not at the friends place now...
Any one has a clue what could be going on ?
Thanks and best regards

@Klaus:

We make 3 different builds for Apple computers:

OSX:
32bit, for 10.6.8 and newer
64bit, for 10.6.8 and newer

MacOS:
64bit, for 10.11 and newer
(NOTE1: this uses a newer apple compiler than the 10.6.8 build, and might have better performance than the 10.6.8).
(NOTE2: before Catalina was released, this build also worked for 10.10. But when we rebuilt for Catalina, this build is no longer backwards-compatible to 10.10).

All 3 packages should be available in the email that you receive after your purchase/update.

By default, the store provides a button for the 64bit MacOS build, because we think most of our users are running 10.11 or newer.

Based on some reports we've had in the last week, I think the MacOS build must still have a label somewhere that says "10.10 and newer" instead of "10.11 and newer". I will look for it.

Sorry for the confusion! We work very hard to continue supporting both the old and newest Apple OS's. But it does add some complexity.
