I'm on OSX 10.9.5.

It is only available in licensed versions of Mixbus. Is the license file installed correctly?
see post 6, earlier in this thread:

So, I have to buy a license to see which of my plugins work?

I'm not sure if it works for you but go at preferences and do a new fresh "scan plugins".

Is it real or not? It seems that 1508 is slightly lighter in the terms of the CPU usage. Also the GUI seems to be more fluent. Several central European characters issues were solved as well. Thank you guys.

Hello,
with the beginning of a new season of work i decided to let go of mixbus 2.5 and dive into 3.
As I would like to be helpful and give some "beta-testing" returns according to my specific use of the daw, i decided to use the interim releases as they come.

So far a few things have been bugging me but i will give myself some time to adjust before giving any comment. By the way, thank you for having written a thorough manual for MB3, as i find myself referring to it quite often in this adjustment process :)

Anyway, the goal of this message is to signal an error i got several times in a row, causing Mixbus to crash (application instanlty quits).
Running from a terminal, the output seemingly relevant to the error is :
Code:
Please call begin_reversible_command() before commit_reversible_command().
*** Error in `/opt/Mixbus-3.0.1508/bin/mixbus-3.0.1508': free(): invalid pointer: 0x000000000189cc50 ***
Abort

This happened while pressing "s" key to split a region while the playhead is rolling.
I did not manage to reproduce at will (which makes me doubt the usefulness of even mentionning it at all).
This is on linux (mint debian edition), editor and mixer windows opened, plus the x42 R128-gtk plugin visible.
Can give more details if needed/asked for.

known issue: http://tracker.ardour.org/view.php?id=6338#c16706

"Please call begin_reversible_command() before commit_reversible_command()." means that Ardour/Mixbus undo-operations would become garbled: Start a drag, then split a region before finishing the drag/drop.

One solution would be to not allow [keyboard or control-surface driven] edit operations while a drag/drop is in progress.
