its 2024 and this is still an issue that a lot of us are dealing with. The "MESA_GL_VERSION_OVERRIDE=3.2" that is specified in the user manual for the AVA plugins is not the solution to this problem.
I also reached out to support, I got an initial reply with instructions to run that command. I replied showing them that even with that command I am still getting the gtk errors and more importantly, the AVA plugins are crashing. I have yet to receive any further communication from support. Sure am glad I've paid Harrison so much money the last few years.
For me (I don't know about anyone else) once the AVA plugins crash, Mixbus will also hang when I go to quit. It does this without printing any errors to the terminal (I am launching the program with --sync option in order to try to debug).
