Ben,
is there a way to reset the a-EQ somehow? If not, I would welcome the addition of a reset button. So far, I'm working on this by reloading the plugin. I would sometimes need the same function with the built-in equalizer in the channel. Sometimes it is useful to cancel all equalizations and start over.

Hit the reset button top right of UI     the circle with arrow.

A double click on any control resets it into default. That's still a few clicks for the channel EQ but better than dragging.
Another method is to grab the "virgin" EQ from another channel/utility bus and drag it into the track in question - that copies the settings (in this case "none"). Also useful to copy settings from one track to another.

Saving a "Flat" preset is easy. One click resets all. Well two I guess, one to bring up the presets selector.
What Dingo posted is the easiest though. I use EQs sometimes through a plugin host like jalv or Carla, or in other ways which don't have a reset button so have a habit of creating a flat preset.
