As per a suggestion from Ben@Harrison I started this new thread asking for tips on how best to edit out clicks/pops in a recording using Mixbus.
Thanks!

Hey Sonik,
Using the gain tool would probably work in many (maybe most) cases, but it doesn't remove the pop. Simply turns it down.
And if your clicks are bad enough, you'll have to turn that area way down so much that a moment of silence is heard.
I like to completely edit/cut out clicks and pops.
In Pro Tools I'll occasionally use the draw function, where I can draw my own waveform to smooth out any unwanted clicks.
My thing with mixbus is, I don't feel I can zoom in close enough and still have a good representation of the waveform.
Perhaps I need to play more with it though.
I appreciate you sharing your method. Thanks!

Yes, even in Cubase and in Audacity you can redraw the line with the pencil.
Maybe this will come one day.

It all depends on the material.
Select a range over the pop and delete it (Ripple edit probably OFF)
or split the track and slide the end points so the pop doesn't sound.
Then ...
Copy & Paste a similar sound clip over the empty area and fade it in/out as needed.
Usually pops & clicks go by really fast.
Let your ears be the judge as to whether it works or not.
