hello, so i wrote with the support, and its the midi system. it works when i set the midi to none instead of mme.

hello, so i wrote with the support, and its the midi system. it works when i set the midi to none instead of mme.
As this thread was the top result when I Googled for "harrison mixbus failed to register audio ports" I will enter my own experience here.
Indeed I had to select "None" rather than "WinMME" to get Mixbus to load at all initially. Then I turned off all MIDI controllers but one (an NI S-88 Mk1) and tried again - and it loaded. With only one thus far engaged, I quit Mixbus, switched that one off and turned another one on (an NI S-49 Mk2} and restarted, which now loaded with that controller present. I shut down Mixbus again and turned both on, and now both appeared in the list. I then continued this process with the Akai MPK249, and after it was seen, I quit Mixbus and turned on all three. Upon restart all three were visible now. I then was emboldened and turned on another without shutting the others off and restarted to find Mixbus had become friendly to new controllers. Finally I turned on my MOTU MIDI Express XT and it saw all eight ports. I hope the same goes for you!!! Terry |
