Which Mixbus development are you most excited about?
Hard to choose one. I guess Virtual instrument support so I can do my entire project in MB w/o routing from another DAW.

That said, given computer advances, 64-bit, multi-core seem essential too.

My problem is I bounce around DAWs...Studio One...REAPER...ProTools...MixBus...GuitarTracks...

2015 is my year to focus on learning to use what I have and make more music.

Other challenge is I am learning my instruments(s) too...guitar, keyboard, drum programming.

OVERWHELMED but having fun.

Any news as to when MB3 is supposed to be coming? Some screenshots had been announced months ago, were they ever published?

I voted for 64 bit, but I think Multi core is just as important. OS X Yosemite approved too, even though I am running V2.5 on it now and all seems to be ok so far! actually I'm impressed with both Mixbus and Ardour as is, so can only get better :-)
As for all the bells and whistles to be included, I use other daws also, so its not big deal to me. Logic Pro X and Studio One Pro w Native Instruments suite is pretty robust with instruments, fx, and midi, so i'd rather that Mixbus stays focused on the unique and awesome analog console part of the game...... but I understand not everyone is a multi daw user/owner.

I would be very happy
- to have an option in MB3 to save users plugin CHAINs with the proper presets. (regardless how many Harrison or third party are in the chain, keeping also their position pre/or postfader)
- to have user's preset save in XT plugs.
Thanks

I would love to have auto make up gain button on the compressor. It will make my life easy till I find the exact ballpark setting. and I will turn of the make up gain and go manual for final touch.

Imo you won't need Studio One (or reaper) anymore because Ardour4.0 has a lot of new features including:

64bits version, Windows, Mac os X and Linux versions
Midi, AUi/VstI full support
Multicore support
New design (look)
You'll need only OMF and AAF support with AA translator or/and Ardour Xchange

And it's very stable Smile     (for fun)
For live recording, you have now Waves Tracks Live, Ardour4 fork for live.

Wow, that sounds very promising! ^^^^^^
And to think I like Mixbus and Ardour as is being new to it (just learning them)
:-)

Sound like me! I have tried and collected too many daws, and guitars, etc over past few years myself! Guitar Tracks, Live 9 Lite, Mixcraft 6 Pro, Studio One Pro, Logic Pro X, Stagelight, Tracktion 5 demo, Garageband, and just last week Mixbus! I guess I like to try things out, or maybe just still looking for a good fit. They all are good, and have certain things about them that stand out for sure. I LOVE Mixbus so far as I'm a Classic Rock fan, and wish I was into all this in the analog days to have that experience to pull from.... but happy to have so many tools to learn to express the Music inside someday. 2015 is also my year to actually making use of them (Focus)!
glad i'm not alone, lol

I would like to be able to use EZdrummer.
Along the same line, the ability to sync record midi.
