Yes...I've also started wearing my glasses again just today, which is already making things easier for my eyes. Definitely less fatigue and everything is sharper. I'm really looking forward to seeing Mixbus (and Studio One too, plus all the other apps I use) bigger, and more clearly.

Hi an interesting thread, It will be good to know how you get on 'Doncolga'.
I have a 24" 1920x1080... which through my graphics card I can set to 1920x1200 but only just. I would change to a 28" 2560x1440 if i can get one the right price, not sure how I much I would gain but I am struggling with my eyes.
I have a ledge that limits the height of my screen to be under 580mm

I could tell my eyes were working harder, so hence the bigger screen. This happened before when I spent lots of time with the program. Plus, I'll meet the minimum requirements for 32C, which will be good too.

I use 32C and it is a struggle to use even with managing to get my 24" 1920x1080p to 1920x1200p. I'm considering a Hannspree 27" 2K WQHD IPS HDMI Monitor £200.00. But I would have to alter my box room to accommodate it

Would you think the spec is OK ?

To be honest, if its an actual computer monitor, the only spec I really pay attention to is the resolution, so I believe WQHD gets what you'll need. I'm not super picky about graphics, so if that's good I'll go for it. This is one of the rare cases I felt I needed to improve what I was looking at on the screen. Some other members here may be able to chime in on other monitor specs.

Yes for the last 6 months or so after I managed to get 32C into 1920x1200 mode I managed, but now after 30 minutes or so my eyes start to stream and I have to stop/move away from 32C. I'm hoping a 24" to 27" monitor will help the situation I realise it isn't much of a step up... but a 27" is all the room I have without making a major changes to my room, plus a limited budget doesn't help so I have to be sure it's worth the move

Thanks for your response... appreciated

Hi Frank,
I am using a 24" 1920x1080 now, for which with my Graphics card I can just make it to 1920x1200... so everything shows on the screen without scrolling, at first (6 months) it was great but then it started to give viewing problems.

With some further dimension info emailed to me this morning, I see I can just about fit a 27" 2560x1440 on to my desk (I have height restrictions) I would have dispense with the stock stand and use a vesa wall bracket... so this is what I am considering... it is a PC monitor (not a TV screen).

As I'm improving using 32C, I find I'm wanting to spend more time at the computer... so a solution has to be sorted. I hope this is the solution.
As further Mixbus/32C update's arrive... I assume there will be more of the DAW wanting to show itself on the monitor

Regards

Alan

Important is the pixelsize. If that is close to what you have now, you are OK.

Mind you LCD have not an adjustable beamwith like the CRTś used to have,

The best quality is when you use the native resolution. if you have to scale up, make the pixels larger in order to see the objects properly, the image blurs, becuse the pixels do not fit the written dots exactly. I think that is the effect you have now on your 1080 monitor.

2k on a 27 inches might be a little small pixel wise. I think 32 inches is probably the minimum size for 2k to be comfortable. But you can always use resolution of your video card to limit the resolution to 1920x1200 which would probably be more comfortable. You can can also use Mixbus scaling settings to help if needed.

Thank You BJS,
I do not have the room for a 32" monitor, but I can just fit a 27" monitor in the restricted height I have. What are your thoughts regarding the the beneficial increase in view-able space between a 24" and a 27"

Cheers
