If some of you are interested by the VSTNotes (free) , I can send you the dll (Windows) by email. As it seems that it cannot be download anymore, I don't think to be " out of law".

Yeah, thanks - that's another cool idea but I can't manage to coax more than one short line of text for any of the fields. I want a bit more space than that - that's why I'm going with BHB's suggestion to use the comments section on the master bus.
