Just checked with Ardour8 and I am seeing the XT range... they are listed under Creator: Harrison Consoles not Harrison Audio.

Alright! I tried with Ardour6, the Debian Bullseye distro version, before and they didn't show. Prompted by your reply I downloaded Ardour8 and there was a prompt during installation to add XT plugins and sure enough, tested XT-MC and it works fine.  Thanks @Dingo Big Grin

The XT range are LV2 plugins and will only work in Mixbus / 32C and Ardour *
The AVA range (32C, MPC, AVA) are AAX / VST / AU plugins and will work in any DAW **

* Linux users might want to clarify this point...
** AU is an Apple format and only applies to macOS. AAX is proprietary to Protools / AVID. VST comes as VST2 and VST3.

okay I was a bit unprecise, should have written in whatever DAW able to deal with the plugin format, but the point was on the licenses, not on the format and the question was mixbus and mixbus 32c, which should work as well in any format other than AAX.

I tried to buy this 9+9 but it's telling me to enter my iLok ID. Is there a way to buy this without one? I don't have iLok, being on Linux, and don't need iLok for this (Linux) Mixbus or these XT plugins. Seems like it's asking me this question for no reason.

I bought it without iLok, but then I was also wondering how to get my licenses after purchasing them. Because there was no link or something. Then I found out you have to go to your "ACCOUNT" (upper right), and there you can see your purchased products. It will then redirect you to the SSL website where you have to login into your account once more. There you will finally find your license keys.

Check out this document, you can drop all your license text files into the root of your home folder and that's it...

The file names of each plugin denote what they are:

license_key_harrison_xt_mc.txt - in this example it's XT range, Multiband Compressor

Yeah once I understood how the text files should be named, I was able to do it quite quickly. However, in the license overview, the product name wasn't listed, so I had to guess/try in some cases (e.g. in some licenses it was just "M", "Q" or "G", but the name of the plugins were ME, EQ and EG). It would have been nice to be able to simply download all txt files at once in a ZIP with the proper names, so I would just have to extract them into the home folder instead of copying each key and creating a text file with the guessed names Wink
yes I hope that bulk download option gets added to the My Products area of your user account.  Its so much faster to put them all in your Home folder.

As a side note, it's possible to put them in a hidden folder so they don't clutter up your main Home. In Linux I use ~/.config/harrisonconsoles . It can be done in Win or Mac too, check the manual - https://mixbus.helpscoutdocs.com/article...w-computer (obviously only text licence files)

Not sure if it applies to all the text based license range (XT etc), but you can also license from a USB stick that has the name HARRISON.
I use that when visiting other studios as I don't want my name associated with pirated copies of MPC channel and the other AVA tools I love.

As a side note, if you are looking for copies of your (pre SSL) text based versions or downloads of installers use this link to retrieve using the email address you purchased with.
