Store mixer settings: bug ?

Hi,

I have an issue with the store mixer settings tools.

This function doesn't work on my mixbus softwares.

I try it on mixbus 32C 7.1.97 and on other mixbus 7 version but it is not working.

By clicking on Track --> Mix tools --> store mixer settings nothing happens...... no windows opening. Sometimes i see the windowx just one seconds before it closed......

It is curious because the other options seems working (track organizer, recall mixer setting).

Has someone the same issue and for sure a solution ?

I've never used this feature but I just tried it here and it seemed to work okay in 32C ver 7.1.0. However, I then tried the latest development code but like you said, nothing happened. Have you got a version as early as 7.1.0?

I dont' have the version 7.1.0.

I try to find it on the mixbus webside but without success.

Have you got any idea where to find this version ?

I also tried to install the 7.2 version (latest available) but the issue is the same.

Hi guigui67 - I discovered that this functionality gets provided by a lua script called mixer_settings_store.lua which was missing from my system. I copied the one from v7.1.0 and it works now. Maybe look on your system in case it's missing there too. It should be in this folder:-

<Your MB32C install folder>\share\ardour7\scripts

i had a look on the folder described into your last message but unfortunatly the file called mixer_settings_store.lua is on the right place !

Any other idea ?

Apart from uninstalling MB and re-installing, that's about all I can think of 

Is this affecting all your sessions or just one ?

it is affecting all my sessions on mixbus 32C but also on the traditionnal mixbus v7....

When i updated from 7.1.97 to 7.2 there was an uninstall procedure but this has not solved the issue.

Don't set this up permanently but just as an experiment could you try running MB as an Administrator and see if it still happens?

[Edit...] If that doesn't work, open a Windows Command Prompt and navigate to the folder containing MB or MB32C, then launch it from the Command window. It looks as if the lua function should print some text if an error occurs.

sorry for my late answer and thanks for your help.

1) I tried the launch as administrator of my Mixbus32C : click right on the desktop and execute as adminitrator. --> The results is negativ. It doesn't solve the issue.
2) by opening mixbus by the windows command path and then using the store mixer function there is effectively an error.

Here below is the text. I just open an exiisting session and then launch the "store mixer" option two times. But nothing happened.
