aaaaand... as expected, it worked like a charm. But this is under Linux. What I did see is that the playhead jumps back to session start between exporting the regions - this could be because of the transport mode set to "return". It also tried to play back (1/2 second or so) between region exports. Perhaps this behaviour confused Windows at some stage? Dunno.
