Mixbus 32C 8.2.170 does not work (SOLVED)

I also have problems with 8.2.170 as well as Ardour 7.3. I can get a consistent crash for example when running a Analog Obsession plugin such as COMPER and click on the Analog Obsession logo to switch on oversampling. No problem doing this with 8.2.66 and Ardour 7.2 and all the prior versions I've used over the years.
I know that running windows vst3 plugins via yabridge is not guaranteed functionality, but it worked fine in prior versions of Mixbus/Ardour.
