The drag and drop does not work directly but it does indirectly. When you drag the created pattern into mixbus the plugin creates a midi file called mtpdk.mid in the users Documents folder in his home directory, usually /home/USERNAME/Documents.
You can then take this file and drag it in mixbus on the right track.
