Hi,

you are my best friend! Smile

Yes, Mixbus is started before jack; but if I close Jack, the problem persist...

I start Mixbus with the command
/opt/Mixbus32C-6.0.251/bin/mixbus32c6

The terminal output is:

Thanks again...

It looks like it can't allocate enough memory, but that might just one of these messages...
In the end it seems to boil down to Jack again.
Can you delete/rename your config folder again, then kill Jack again, make sure he's dead, and start Mixbus again from the command line, but this time in the respective dialogue choose to use ALSA, not Jack?

Hi,

I restarted the PC, delete the .config/Mixbus6 folder, start a new Mixbus6 session with command line and selected the ALSA drivers, Mixbus32C starts:

Ok that's something to work with.
Now can you start Jack on its own? I'm most experienced with qjackctl. If you install this, do the settings and try to start Jack - do you have any success?
Open the "messages" window in qjackctl, so you can see what happens.

MMM
P.S. If Jack is already running in the system qjackctl will connect to this and show connections/messages of this jack server

Try killing PulseAudio before starting Mixbus:
Code:
pulseaudio -k

JACK needs exclusive access to the sound card. It may fail if any other audio program is running.
Mixbus 32C, Debian Bookworm/KDE, EVE SC205 + ADAM Sub 8 monitors, Soundcraft Compact 4, M-Audio 2496, i5 6500, 16GB RAM, WD Blue SSD 1TB, 48" LG OLED, other stuff.

And can you see your hardware i/o in the connection window? can you start any other Jack-enabled application and can you connect it to your system outputs?

It always boils down to that memory it can't allocate. How is your ulimits?

I use Linux Mint Cinnamom 19.03_x64 with all the last update/upgrde...

This is the connection window that I see when I start QjackCtl:

I use Reaper with jack audio without problems: send MIDI data to Qsynth and route it's instruments audio outputs on many Reaper audio destinations tracks ... and so on. In every of these operations, I use QjackCtl.

I uninstalled QjackCtl (installed from Software Center...) and reinstall it with this command:
Code:
sudo apt-get install jackd qjackctl openjdk-8-jdk

[EDIT]
Now I prepared one Template with Reaper that send it's audio tracks to Mixbus.... I see in QjackCtl its 18 audio Outs in the QjackCtl list: all seems to be works...

I need this command?

Code:
pulseaudio -k

Thanks guys...

Hmmm I'm running out of ideas from remote... it's nearly midnight here anyway. Your best option is to send a link to this thread to mixbus@harrisonconsoles.com for them to check...
