Mixbus32C - v6.0 - Now Available!
#1
Version 6 of Mixbus32C has been published on our website! Click here to buy Mixbus32C, or to try a demo!

Existing Mixbus32C customers should have received upgrade offers via email. The published upgrade price for 32C is $79 from any prior version.

Regular Mixbus customers should receive an email to upgrade to Mixbus32C for $149

Regular Mixbus v6 is in development. We normally launch regular Mixbus about 4-8 weeks after 32C. We have not yet set a release date.

What's New in Mixbus32C v6?

Here's a short video by our favorite product specialist, Nik, introducing the new features in version 6:

  • Harrison 5th generation Mixbus processing engine with many improvements including smoother operation, extensive latency compensation, and cue-monitoring (the ability to hear live input and playback at the same time on a track).
  • Dedicated FX buses: Mixbuses 1-8 can now assign to mixbuses 9-12, permitting their use as dedicated FX buses or matrix outputs.
  • The EQ, Sends, and Input/Recording sections can now be shown&hidden, allowing Mixbus32C to fit on smaller monitors.
  • Foldback buses allow the building of unlimited custom cue mixes for artists.
...plus hundreds of additional fixes and improvements! See the full change-list in our manual.

I just love it! :-)

Sure, it''s a lot of bugs and issues at the moment, but I'm sure that will change rapidly as always.

After just one hour of usage, this is the big new points for me:
  • The readability improvement of the GUI is massive - my 58-year old eyes thank you for this!
  • That one can both record and listen at the same time to one MIDI track. No more workaround by making a MIDI bus and have two MIDI tracks connected to it: one for recording and one for playing
  • Foldback Buses: This makes especially vocal tracking sooo much easier!

Now, I will continue working and discover more exciting stuff!

I believe that this year (or is it the next?), I've been using Harrison Mixbus for ten years. Thank you very much, Harrison! :-)

is license backwards compatible?

I would like to buy the 6 version but I don't want to get stuck in some strange bug while working on a project that can be done in v5.

v5 and v6 are two separated licenses.

If you had v5, it will continue to work in parallel to v6 unless you uninstall it.

Hello I just bought an upgrade from v5 to v6 and I’m getting the random low-level noise that a demo usually gets?? Tried uninstalling so I could put my license in again but it never gives me the option. When I start the program it says it’s licensed to me. Not sure how to fix this.

After it started: what does it say when you click on "Help --> About"?
