Mixbus32C : UPDATE v8.1.376
#51
@SScardanelli: the links in your signature use the long-deprecated `http://` scheme:  if those links actually just redirect to `https://`, then perhaps you could update the signature accordingly?

@tseaver - I don't know what you mean. I tried using https://vi-vid.com and got a blank page. Works ok for scardanelli.com but I'll leave them as they are as they both work as is. What's your problem with it?

scardanelli.com, http://scardanelli.com, and https://scardanelli.com all redirect to https://songman.org actually...    Big Grin
So that one could change to where it really goes if you would like, but http://vi-vid.com doesn't have a secure version, so it does have to stay the way it is.

Or,  you could leave off the http(s):// all together, as browsers these days just assume it and put it in there for you in the background.

I would guess @tseaver went down that path because of @johne53 having issues with the vi-vid.com site and the security warnings...

Some security systems / browsers will throw up a flag if the site is not running https or is cloaking - redirecting to another site.

OK I'll change the scardanelli.com redirect to songman.org cos that makes sense, as to the Vi-ViD site, well, I have no idea how all this stuff works, the website is hosted by one company but the domain is through another supplier and of course redirects. I tend to spend my time making music not trying to understand internet protocols or coding....Smile
