Is anyone else having this problem as soon as I  open it in a strip it goes. I had a k 14 on the master bus and opened the vu another and bang! Every time

I must admit, I'm not seeing the crash here. I'm running on Windows 10 (64-bit) although for plugin compatibility I tend to install 32-bit Mixbus. I've tried with regular Mixbus and also MB32C. Both versions are v6.2.162 from about 6 weeks ago.
