Moving preferences from one machine to another
#1
I just built a new computer for my studio. Is there a simple way to take all my preferences and such settings from Mixbus32-C on the old machine and port them over to the new machine?

Trying to avoid having to tweak all the settings to get it back to where I like it.

Thanks.

Check the manual ... http://www.harrisonconsoles.com/mixbus/m...ser-topics
You need to find the Mixbus6 folder and copy that to the same location on your second system.
in Windows: ~/AppData/Local/Mixbus6
The Mixbus6 folder is common to MB and 32C.

Tried that. For some reason it didn't work. Got a Windows runtime error on startup. Ended up deleting the folder and reconfiguring from scratch. Fortunately, I found that I hadn't made as many changes as I thought.
