Why this forum has dialog 'Click here if you don't want to wait any longer' appearing for search and marking whole sub forum as read? It is annoying, and it isn't really going away with waiting, but keeps there. I haven't seen such on any other forum.

Yes, that's a bit 'strange' and probably has to do with a notion of infinity as far as the waiting side of it is concerned.

Since you brought it up, I spent 1 minute searching it. This is what I quickly found, mybb community pages:

In Admin Control Panel, settings -> general configuration - > turn off friendly redirection pages.

Also existing users will need to go to user control panel -> edit options - other options, and deselect friendly redirection pages.
