Free VST3 to VST2 Converter!
#1
https://www.xlutop.com/buzz (vst3shell.zip)

Here's how...
1. Create a New Folder (to be scan with Mixbus) at a location of your choice.
2. Copy and paste the vst3shell dlls into this New Folder.
3. Launch Mixbus (64 bit).
4. Go to: Preference\Plugins\VST Add the path of this New Folder to be scan.
5. Go to: Preference\Plugins and Re-Scan...

ALL your existing VST3 Plugins on your computer will be automatically converted and available as VST2 in Mixbus (including Waves Plugins)!

Note: It's not recommended to paste the dlls in your ©...VSTPlugins/VSTPlugins (x86) Folders, because most of your other DAWs already support VST3.

You're welcome!

Reason 11 Lite (if you have it installed) is only available in VST3. You can now enjoy it in Mixbus!

I wouldn’t take the risk...it is from an unknown source.
The OP is a very recent member and has only 5 posts most of them pointing to external links......Exercise due caution.
VST3 in Mixbus is being developed, my advice is to wait and do it right.

I'm pretty sure Melodyne 5 is VST3 for a reason... it uses VST3-only features that are essential, so any converters will likely not work at all.

I too would be very skeptical of anything that claims it can convert any VST3 plugin into a fully-functioning VST2 plugin.
i5-8400 - 16GB - Big SSD & HD - Win10 Pro - Mixbus - Studio One
UAD Apollo Quad Firewire - Quad FW satellite - PCIe DUO
FaderPort 8 - Console 1
Lots of guitars - I build all my own tube amps

The VST3 standard allows numerous functions that VST2 cannot use.

I'm a proud owner of Mixbus 6 and I'm here to share knowledge of interest that will benefit other members of this community (even with just 5 posts).
Until the day you support VST3...this converter is a good alternative to temporary solve some of the VST3 issues.
And if it's true that it's a malware why did it took you so long to sound the alarm?
