Editing Fader Automation

[Mixing The Band]

I wrote fader automation using the Faderport from the mix window. I want to edit this automation in the edit window. The automation line is not there in the automation lane in the edit window no matter which tool I select. I can choose the pencil tool and write new automation in, but there is no existing automation line from what I already did. I'm sure I'm missing something simple, but how do I edit the automation I have already written with the fader? I don't see the line, thanks.

Make sure you have "Fader" selected as the automation you want displayed.

I figured it out. I was automating the bus fader, but looking at the channel fader for the automation, which had the same name. Completely my error ha ha ha.
