Tempo issue with imported audio tracks in Mixbus
#1
Hi all
I'm trying to understand the issue here:
For imported audio tracks which have tempo changes, Mixbus doesn't keep the tempo. After import, the tracks are messed up. Even though they're all starting well from the same position, after a while some of them are becoming slightly longer.
All of them are having the same properties (24 bit 44.1 KHz) and the Mixbus project is set the same and it doesn't matter if I let the default tempo 120BPM, or set a tempo track, the issue is still the same.
The tracks are created in Reaper. I checked them in Cubase 10 and they're fine with the same settings.

Hi.

Some questions.

- Are you working with audio tracks or midi tracks?

Midi tracks with tempo changes are affected by the "tempo mappin" of the DAW.
I think (but not sure) you can make them free in RightClick, position, glue to bars and beats.

- How you import this tracks? (as new tracks or to source list)
- Are you using buses for mixing? (Could be a latency issue on routing)

I can think of something else. But if you could put some screenshot it would help.
