Installation issue with Mixbus 6.1.22
#1
While installing the latest version, I had two files that would not load . Both were .ttf files
ardourmon.tff and ardoursans.tff
I clicked "ignore" on both and the update loaded and started OK. Will there be any issues without these font sets?

Yes it is OK to click "Ignore" for those files.

When the Mixbus installer runs, it installs those 2 font files as part of the process.

If you later run Mixbus, then Windows will "lock" those font files. This is part of Windows' internal operation and we can't avoid it. When Mixbus quits normally, then Windows will unlock the font files. However, if Mixbus crashes, the files will remain locked and our installer cannot then overwrite them. The only way to remove the lock is to restart windows.

But as you've found it is also OK to click 'ignore' and skip those files. Since those font files are already on your system and in the correct location, it causes no problems to ignore that stage of the installation.

Sorry for the confusion!

Thanks, Ben,
Glad to hear it's not an issue.
