How to use: "Pitch Scaler" plugin (by Steve Harris)
#1
Does anyone have any experience using the "Pitch Scaler" plugin by Steve Harris?
I'm seeing that I can write pitch correction, via automation, to a vocal region...
and the pitch does change when played back...
but it not usable at all as it is much
lower in volume and sounds like a cyborg! If I bypass the plugin I hear the
original vocal in the region at the correct volume.
I'm only setting the Pitch co-efficient to 1.010 - slightly sharp (no correction is 1.000).
And, even when I set the Pitch co-efficient to 1.000 I only hear the cyborg
type vocal in normal pitch.

Thanks, in advance!

How did you compile from https://github.com/swh/ladspa or https://github.com/swh/lv2 ?
For linux or win10 ?

Thanks

Hello, AB_02 -

I did not compile it. I just selected it from the plugins library that is available in 32C V6.

By the way... After trying a number of alternatives available in the plugin library,
I decided to just email the singer and ask them to re-track that part.
Problem solved.

Cheers!
Patrick
