How to view the Monitor Section?

The Monitor Section has the mono button and should appear to the right of the master fader in the mixer, right? I had it before but now I cannot get it to show.

I toggle the menu item "View>Mixer:Show Monitor Section" but the Monitor Section doesn't appear. When toggled on an additional small "gap" appears to the right of the main fader but nomatter how I try I can't grab anything to resize.

I cannot see anything in preferences that helps. I have even changed GUI zoom just in case. But nothing.

What on earth is going on. How can I get to view the Monitor Section? Any pointers much appreciated. Thanks, Phil.

Does the session in question have a monitor section? Menu > Session > Monitor Section ?

OMG. No it doesn't. As soon as I check that the Monitor Section appears. Sorry to have missed that.
