Hello to all!
who will tell me a simple and correct way to change the stereo channel strip to mono to save it as a "mono template".
Is manual switching in "pin connection" the only way?

I'm always creating a mono bus and connect both stereo channel outputs to the bus's input. That sums the channels to mono (L+R=M) and gives me extra EQ/compression options.
Don't forget to deactivate the stereo channel's master send.

Good idea, I will definitely try, thanks, but I'm interested in how I can easily remake stereo channel strip to mono. (something like a single button in Logic Pro)

I don't know any DAW who can do that.
What you can do is: Create another Mono track and feed it with your source an record it. If you have a stereo signal you want to get Mono, just route it to a Mixbus channel, and set the Mixbus Track to Mono.
Look at this magic orange knob. Photo.

Logic Pro X.
By pressing just one button, you instantly turn the channel strip into (stereo, mono, left, right ..)
Thanks for the response, but I certainly know about that.
All I need is an easy way to turn a stereo channel downloaded from "templates" into MONO.

If you want to create mono template from a stereo template it is not possible for a lot reasons.
If you recall a stereo template and want to listen to it as mono, put there a mono plugin. (e.g.: A1 Stereo Control)
A template is for a lot later uses so "record it and so..." I think is not you wanted.
If you want the exact clone of a stereo template insert a mono track, drag/insert the same plugins and do the other settings by hand then save it as a channel strip template. It will be naturally mono. (dragging: some plugs have stereo/mono versions, some not so pin controllers cannot produce the same)
Win7/64, Mixbus32C, Mixbus2.5 the Queen UR22, Dynaudio BM5A MKII, Pc all SSD,

interesting to know, but rarely needed.
What about your vst plug-ins? Are they also turning into a Mono version?
Or is it the next crash report?
There are no VST plugins in Logic Pro! Only AU.

Thank you, Tassy!
That is why I asked to make sure that this is the only way in MB.
