Wanted: delay line in default channel strip
#1
Hi all,

Am I the only one doing live multi-mic recording where a short delay line on every channel would be a great help?

stp

I also second the request for a gate.

If you insert a simple plugin like a-Amplifier or a-Mute, you can use the delay comp to add delay to every input.

Also have a look at a-Expander, that might be a viable zero latency option for a gate.

The XT-EG is also a versatile tool. Easy to use. $29.00 USD
A gate and an expander. I also think the channel strip is full, maybe even crowded.
Question, did the Harrison 32 have a gate on every channel?

Right, I also have a bunch of plug-ins that do delay (e.g., from Eventide, the original delay folks), but I thought it'd be nice as a standard feature of the channel strip...
