Just downloaded the Mixbus demo and within an hour or so I am totally impressed with recording/mixing audio. My question is regarding working with video. I don't see much info in the manual or online. Is it really not setup for working with video? I've been using Logic for the last 5 years and worked in Studio One and Cubase before that. I might be moving back to a windows system and I am looking for something to replace Logic. I usually have about 1 project a week that I need to import a video file and work on the audio. Can anyone point me to a video or even a step by step process on how it works?
Thank you so much!
Paul

If you need to properly edit video Resolve from Black Magic Design is worth looking at, and is Multiplatform and free and contains a fairly decent basic audio editor, which is very well integrated. Free edition is limited to 1080P output last time I checked. (so no 4k output)

And what is the most optimal variant for a beginner? Currently looking for video editing software, can't decide which one to use, your help would be deeply appreciated.

Hi and welcome to the forum.
Well a list of what you are considering would help...
As Sligo Sound suggested try Resolve from Black Magic Design.
