Live Drums editing approach - smoothing/filling gaps

Hello guys! Im in a middle of an editing course and of course this course was made in PT, basically Im tackling the art of editing drums to the grid that according to the manual I can do it using the Rithm Ferret tool.

But what Im kinda missing is the option or tool to fill and crossfade automatically the gaps after the alignment to the grid, like the "Edit Smoothing" feature.

I've read the and search over the manual but I cannot find somethig related to those kind of "crossfades"

Can someone give me a hand on this question?
