I know Mixbus functions can be triggered with midi messages sent from external devices, through bindings in .map files.
Is the opposite possible, I mean for example send a midi message when you click play button?
I ask because I would want to bypass MMC commands (which work fine) to control an external midi groovebox / sequencer transport. My issue is that I record tracks from this groovebox and I start it remotely from Mixbus transport button.
Problem is that when I record a track in Mixbus, the MMC record is sent and recognized by the groovebox which put itself in record mode.
So I would like to find a way to reprogram midi message so when I click play with record enabled on Mixbus, a MMC play command is transmitted instead of a MMC record message.
