32C bass cut and boost

One thing I like to do is to cut the basses and then adjust a bass boost. I find, depending on the material, that it yields richer basses.

That video is a good demonstration of the principle. Haven't tried it yet: it might also work with a lowpass + high boost ?

It somehow works for me on things like Cello, Accordion, Melodica, Bluesharp or Brass if you have bad separation (in live recordings). But most of the time when using the the lowpass I attenuate a little with the Hi EQ instead of boosting.
