AVA - All my AVA Plugins do not load in MixBus 32C (5.2) in Windows 10.
#1
Hello everyone, all my AVA plugins do not load into MixBus 32C ( 5.2) under Windows 10, I made all the manipulation indicated on the forum (Steinberg / VSTPlugins folder or VST Plugins) nothing works; in the plugin window all the other plugins: XT - EQ - XT - EG - XT - LC - appear well except AVA. Under Cubase all my AVA plugins work, the licenses have worked well, help me if you please all thanks.

Try again scanning the plugins you have installed ... and check again if they are available.

Good luck for everything ;-),

This could be the issue:

I read a papper that Microsof made an upgrade for the VST Plugins support under Windows 1o in this release:
This Windows 10 Update Will Let You Run Way MORE Plugins In Your DAW!

We I must put them (all DLL) under C:/Users/XXX/Documents/AVA-PLUGINS

XXX your user name

I tested and it works fine

Just found this and other threads from 2019.

Windows 10 Pro, v1909
10.0.18363.720

Per all of these threads, I checked all known folders, and AVA plugins are nowhere to be found after running the installation - not even in the common VST3 folder in Windows.

The AVA license files are in the same folder as Mixbus 5 and 6.

I'd like to copy the AVA plugins to my main VST folder for use in Studio One Pro, but alas... they are nowhere to be found.

How does one reach tech support?
I see no support link on the Harrison (plugins) website.

Thanks,
MG

Welcome to the forum DrummaMan, for tech support of AVA and MPC plugins, you should email plugins@harrisonconsoles.com

Thanks guys.

A second run of the installation apparently took - but only after a cold boot of the system.

Strange...

Studio One Pro now displays the AVA plugins, so I have to assume they are the VST3 versions, as that folder gets scanned.

Still...
I do not understand why the install cannot simply ASK you where your main VST2 x64 folder resides and put them there - like practically every other plugin manufacturer...

Too much junk buried n the Steinberg folder, and all of my useable plugins are located in C:\VSTplugins for simplicity...

Thanks again,
MG
