Limiter on vocals

Anyone mix with a limiter on vocals? I’ve been reading up about it and I want to try it. Only to catch peaks of course.

Yes, on anything really, but consider clip gain first, to allow for more gentle limiting or compression. Depends source and the goal and the time you have. If I’m lazy I’ll through on a limiter and leave everything to it. Sometimes they have to get slammed pretty good if you have a dynamic performance and want a really controlled track.

Right I agree, I think limiters can help but just a little bit not too much lol
