Mixbus updating procedure on Windows 10?
#1
Excuse my ignorance, I am typically a Mac user but use Windows now because Mixbus seemingly runs better there....

I am just getting around to updating from 5 to 5.1, but from the email link (from last october :-) ) I only see the option to download the demo.

Assuming I am supposed to install this version, the installer asks me to uninstall the previous version first (version 5)

Is this the correct procedure? Uninstall old version/Install new version?

Thanks!

As a rule, unless you have another specific configuration need, the answer is you do what a Windows installer says to do.
Win10pro(2004) : i7 8700/RX570 8gb/16gb/970evo : RME PCIe Multiface : Mixbus 32c 4.3 & 7.2
Other DAWs: Logic 10.4 (MacBook) Cubase 10.5 (PC)

Thank you both.

Yea, I just wanted to make sure I was not missing something, like the proper link to an updater or whatever.

Thanks!
