I was delighted to get the email for 32C free!!! and also happy to see Vs 5.
Lots of questions while I figure out the new stuff.
But I'll give Ben and the guys at least a week before I start asking any.
In the meanwhile, I'll see what I can figure out myself.

As far as the benefits of being a plugged in member, that $9 a month ($108 per year);
That's one of the reasons Mixbus 32C doesn't cost 2 to 3 times as much, even for non-members.
I have three unused DAWs that did cost 2 to 3 times as much, not to mention the annual upgrades.
So IMHO, $9 a month is a bargain.

In order to evaluate the impact of the collective monthly $9 fee you'd have to know the quantity of members and how that money is spent. You do not. So you act out of faith.

If you have all the Harrison plugins since at least 2 years and are paying $108 a year, the upgrade was $216 if I'm not mistaken. In the case of Linux the AVA plugin(s) would have no impact since they crash, so it goes back to the XT-SC.

Ok got that. Still the upgrade price is worth it. So I installed it and then I had to reconfigure all my settings because I don't know where those are to backup and restore app on a new version I think they need to have a way for the upgrades and the installs to keep the existing settings from the last version it said something about it when I was installing it but it didn't do anything not to my knowledge anyway they should have a way to set all the coloring of the knobs Etc and import them into the new version perhaps that'll be in version 6 haha! ??

It's a question of logic (no pun intended)

Indeed. It's logical for me to support the development and ongoing support of a software i want to see around for a long time.
I'm also an Ardour subscriber.

If I'm not mistaken, you've missed the point.
Yes there is a difference between $108 and $216,
but in either case, Mixbus is still a bargain.
Not only is it reasonably priced,
but nothing else produces this quality of sound so easily.
