Offline Activation

Received an error when I copied the URL activation code stating it was not correct.. Do I need to be connected to the internet? My machine is offline..

Now I received this error..

System Registry Error

Unable to locate Resource folder location in system registry please reinstall application or contact support

Yes, absolutely. The code is a plain text string. You need to use the link to get the file. Save it, save on a usb, drive, more than one place. The url will only be active for so long. Once you have the text, it needs to be placed in the correct location per the user manual instructions.

I usually put a given version on a cd (among other places), along with the appropriate license file, so it's available if a clean install.

Thank you for your reply, I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong should I open the activation url on an internet enabled machine first? I continue to receive the error and I can't seem to find a support email to reach out to...

I got it to work by placing the URL .txt file in the users folder.
