I have re-booted but it makes no difference. Can you telle me where I switch between Out1/Out2 and Out3/Out4 ?
I was thinking about my Behringer which has 4 channels. So no, that wouldn't work.
If you recently installed AVLinux, there is a new step - PulseAudio.
So re-boot, open Qjackqtl but don't start it yet, on the right side of Qjackqtl open Setup..., the left tab under Settings says Parameters so open that and choose "alsa" as the driver and you want the Realtime box below it to show the green check, to the right I'd use Sample Rate at 48000 and Frames/Period 512. Then, still under Settings, open the right tab Advanced. The only two items under Advanced I'd change (if needed) are Output Device: (I chose hw:U192k) and Input Device: (I chose hw:U192k) - both were blank before chose them. Then choose Cancel to get back to Qjackqtl and turn Start by clicking in the upper left.
Next, under Applications > MultiMedia > Hardware Configuration > PulseAudio Volume, make sure things are good for your speakers.
Then, open Mixbus. If you have a choice, you may want to choose to follow jack (it should show red text). If not, make sure you can choose between 2 (card) and 3 (usb).
See if that works.
And while I was typing, MMM put it in more succinct language. But I did like PulseAudio :-)
