Vu metering on channel input
#1
How about this feature?
I think it would be great to have this option. Maybe Harrison team could make it as an option in preferences in metering settings.

The X42 plugins by Robin Gareus have a VU meter plus other great metering plugins, the VU meter is adjustable to the reference level that you wish to use and you can place them anywhere in the mixer strip, in your case on the pre-fader so it gets hit by the direct input. If you are good at compiling, you can download the source and build them yourself, or you can purchase a license from Harrison's website, if you just purchase the license (which I recommend) you can use them immediately since they are already included in Mixbus.

The Meterbridge can already be switched to VU Metering (with VU Meter Standards selectable in the Prefs):
Open the Meterbridbe (Alt+B)->right click->Change all (or some...) to VU

(while we're here and maybe someone at Harrison is watching: may I request a "Peak hold time = infinite" in the Prefs? For Tracking live and checking Max-Peaks/Levels "now-and-then"... Angel )
