So far I like what I see in MixBus. I wouldn't mind some updates/refinements in the "Control Room" aspects of MB.

  1. Routing: grid style routing matrix for I/O and studio sends (headphone mixes etc)
  2. Monitoring (attenuated soloing, isolated soloing) in order to solo FX: like auditioning reverb
  3. Talkback mic integration

Does anybody else have any thoughts along these lines?

Ardour has this features in the new 3.4 version and much more, maybe Mixbus will have those in the future.
