Hi guys! Until now i've only used Mixbus to mix and I always tracked in Digital Performer, but now I am decided to use 32c as main daw .
But I'm wandering about a pre roll option in the recording settings (2 bars at least); did not find anything about that on the manual (only a short hint in the recording chapter about pressing Shift + Space Bar , but did not work...)
So, what are your suggestion?

Check the transport menu. There are options to record with preroll or count in. Just add a keyboard shortcut you like to use.

Edit: You can set the length of the preroll in the preferences -> transport to a time or bar value.

It would be nice if we could have a pre roll for markers too…or a general pre roll ?

Don't think Mixbus has the feature. I've been asking for it for a while.

Oh... it's not easy to press the space bar and play in time ..

BTW
in 32C spacebar not always does play…
I have to switch to editor window first…
Maybe I can set a pref ?

Thank Ben!! Did not see this section ( my fault , I thought I was too much confident with the transport to read that section!)
